AUSTRALIAN
GOURMET TRAVELLER
BIG RED ISSUE
You
could have knocked me down with it?s stelvin screwcap when
this came out of the bag, not only because it weighs in at
$10, but also because it?s the second time this little beauty
has caught me unawares. There?s nothing fancy here - just
clear, clean straightforward Pinot fruit, which is normally
as rare as hen?s teeth. There?s a fresh cherry scent and a
nice fruity bite. The result is neither sweet nor cloying,
nor masked by any overly ambitious winemaking tweaks. Would
take a light chilling with ease. Extremely more-ish and exceptional
value.
