Australia's Iconic Best

Grant Burge Meshach

There are a lot of very expenses shirazes coming out of the Barossa says Huon Hooke in a recent article for the Sydney Morning Herald…

Huon went on to say with such varied prices… with wines of this
quality, ranging between Penfolds Grange and Henschke Hill of Grace at $500+ and the Grant Burge Meshach at $120 he could not understand why the prices were scattered as he liked them equally… however his value pick was the Grant Burge 2003 Meshach.

‘..remarkably complex and rich (cedary, toasty, plums, prunes and aniseed), and eerily Grange-like in character. Wonderfully concentrated and fleshy in texture..’

When you taste the two unmasked, side-by-side, the main difference is the sweeter fruit/oak nose of the Meshach, while the Grange very savoury to smell as well as taste.
